Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour ¼ cup sugar 1 tbsp baking powder ½ tsp salt ½ cup unsalted butter (cold, cubed) 2/3 cup milk 1 egg 3 cups strawberries (sliced and sugared) Whipped cream Instructions: Preheat oven to 425°F. Mix dry ingredients, cut in butter. Add milk and egg, mix until dough forms. Drop 6 mounds on baking sheet. Bake 12–15 minutes. Split shortcakes, fill with strawberries and whipped cream.
